Web & Mobile Redesign

Background

NC Dental Society foundation helps dentists help patients through education, coaching, and communication. They provide education, prevention, and treatment of adults and children in
need through free-clinic settings and support of local community clinics. We are redesigning they’re website, making it responsive and by optimizing features that will attract and communicate with patients.

Mid-Fi Prototyping

After reviewing the mid-fi prototype, we made the decision to infuse a splash of color into our website that previously exhibited an abundance of white space for several compelling reasons. Firstly, we recognized that while white space can convey a sense of simplicity and elegance, an excess of it can sometimes result in a sterile or uninspiring user experience. Introducing carefully selected colors allowed us to inject personality and vibrancy into the design, thereby enhancing user engagement and visual interest.

Future Developments

As we have seen, the Foundation's original website was not adequately showcasing its most important information. The redesigned website is now more modern and has enhanced accessibility features, ensuring that it engages its target audience. We have upgraded the site’s navigation, making it easier for patients and providers to find details about the Foundation's programs and upcoming events. In future versions of the site, adding more animations would further increase the visual appeal of the interface. Finally, implementing features like an events calendar or language interpreter registration would bring more traffic to the site overall.
